Parador Nacional, Cuenca, Spain
July 4 – August 4, 2009

Exhibitions of the Orpheon Foundation

The Vazquez Collection of Historical String Instruments

Violins, Violas da gamba, Viola d’amore, Violoncellos, Double Basses from 1500 to 1789

Cuenca is a spectacular setting for an exhibition!
The Parador Nacional in Cuenca is itself a notable historical monument. In addition, the City of Cuenca harbors truly formidable works of art of the first rate. Indeed, the cathedral has nothing to envy in Italy, which is why I have chosen to intersperse details of its magnificent artwork among the photos of the exhibition, just to let you know, that you will never regret your visit here.
